What's going on around here
Things are slowly but surely getting back into a routine. It's a new a different routine, but it works. Jacob is currently working seconds, which I really enjoy because it means he can watch the kids while I work. This means I am getting a lot more work done, which means more money! Yea!!
Jacob is really enjoying the job so far. He has had all sorts of training thus far, including self defense (which he is still bruised from) and fire arms. It's still a bit surreal for him to come home at night, I'm just not used to a police officer walking into my house.
Sophie is tentatively potty training. She gets the concept but has yet to "deliver". Today she sat on the potty and strained and pushed and grunted and then finally a little toot, but no more. Still- a step in the right direction. Of course, then she said bye bye to her invisible poop and blew it a kiss, so maybe not so much the right direction. Hmmm.
Today I am attempting to fulfill a goal of mine- to become a roller derby girl. I'm trying out tonight. I am SO EXCITED. I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes tomorrow.
Please keep praying for Patricia and her baby. I know for a fact that we serve a God of the miraculous and that this child is in His hands.
I've got some pictures to post, I'll get on that soon. Keegan still has his days and nights switched so I'm dragging on some things a bit.

Okay Andi, you have to give more details on this "roller derby" girl thing. I remeber watching this on TV as a kid, where does this take place? Are you going to be on TV?
I work with a girl who is part of roller derby! She seems to really enjoy it. Let me know how things turn out!
