Happy Easter
We had wonderful church services for both Good Friday and Easter, just what I needed to really recharge after feeling a little stressed for so long. I haven't even been blogging because at the end of the day I've just been too wiped out to sit down and relay the days activities. It's amazing to me how a little bit of feeling overwhelmed can lead to a lot of disconnection in your spiritual life if you allow it to. I had. But now I feel like I am finally, after much struggle, back on track again.
I think that is why I love Easter so much, it really leads me to reflect on what Christ did for us and what I am doing in return and make the adjustments in my life that need to be addressed. Because the truth is that in His love for me and you, my God gave up everything. There is no better time than today to remember that, praise Him for it, and commit to another year of trying our hardest to serve and glorify Him.
For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. "O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?"
1 Corinthians 15:53-55
