Antares is the 15th brightest star in the sky. It is more than 1000 light years away.
Just think, in the scheme of things, we are NOTHING, and yet God loves us and cares about our every day lives. He feels our hurt, he knows our pain, he rejoices in our gladness and sheds tears at our sorrows. He is our best friend and desires to be with us always, no matter how small we are. I think that makes us the most blessed things in creation, big or small.

wow. i love the visuals. and i love being reminded of things like this. it makes me feel insignificant and yet loved by a wonderous God all at the same time.
