Mamaw's Vacation Picture Post- Four

Dear Mamaw-

Today Momma and I met Grandpa and we went to the Fall Festival. There was a bunch of people there... way over 10, and 10 is a lot. There was all kinds of food there, Momma said something about getting me a brain sandwich or a chocolate covered scorpion, but she was just joking. I did eat some corn fritters, some chicken and dumplings and some bratwurst with sauerkraut. I also drank about 16 ounces of lemon shake up. That was some good stuff! I also saw my first clown. Momma tried to take a picture, but her camera wouldn't work. I wasn't really sure what I thought about that guy- he looked funny, so I gave him a funny look. Momma says I looked at everything so hard she was afraid my eyes would pop out of my head- but they didn't. She worries about weird things.

And he's real tall so I can see all over the street.

This is my first corn fritter. It wasn't as good as the lemon shake up.

Later I found this booth where I could win a hammer by making this bell ring at the top of a big pole. Good thing I had Grandpa there to help me! The carnie who ran the booth was really nice, some of the other ones yelled a lot and were kind of scary.

Grandpa picked out a Princess hammer at first. I threw it down and walked over and picked out this one. It's much better. He got the idea almost immediately.

But it was so big I needed help to walk around. My big trip really wore me out, and it wore Momma out too. We both took a big nap when we got home.

So that was my day today. I hope you had a good day too! Momma said you may be home tomorrow- that would be super-de-dooper. (She told me to say Super-de-dooper I was just gonna say fun, but she said it would make you smile.) So anyway- I gotta go poke baby doll in the eyes for a while before night-night. I love you!
