My Quarter Life Crisis
So, in a few months I am turning 25. Those of you that are over 25 are probably snorting and rolling your eyes, but I am really freaking out about this! I guess I still feel like I am just out of high school but that isn't exactly the case anymore. 25 is the age where I am no longer a young adult... I'm just an adult. With two kids. And a mini-van. :) And as if that wasn't enough yesterday I got my first social security benefits letter. Nice. I can now officially collect social security.
I would not change my life for anything. I am happier with my life than any one person deserves to be. That is not an issue at all. I just feel.... weird, about turning 25. I think after that I'll be okay with the rest of them.
I am quite sure that some of the anxiety I am feeling is deflected off of the fact that Jacob is leaving in two weeks. I am also quite aware that 25 is NOT a big deal. Still, I find myself in a little quarter life mini crisis. It does not help that Jacob calls it my Third Life Crisis. So to celebrate my quarter to third mid life crisis I am going to do something I have wanted to do my whole life and never had the guts to do it. Stay tuned and I'll let you in on the secret a little later. (Remember, I already have a tattoo, so that's not it!)

I totally freaked out over 25 - it was the hardest birthday - harder than 30 or 40! Plus - I found my first gray hair that day! Ugh!
Body Piercing is totaly cool, and perfect for mid 20 life crisis. The best part once you feel you have grown up you can take it out and it heals up, not as permenate as a tattoo, but still very cool.

1. Why isn't my state or city listed on your Schedules and Tickets page? When will The Greatest Show On Earth be coming to my town?
Our Schedules and Tickets page presents information about all currently scheduled performances of both traveling units of The Greatest Show On Earth. We are constantly adding new cities to our schedule, so if you don't see your state listed, please visit our Web site again soon.
Performance schedules are updated continually, but there will be cases when states in which we appear every year are not listed. For example: Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey traditionally performs in Florida in January. Once our shows complete their Florida performances, it will be several months before the following year's shows are scheduled and added to the site. Until that time, Florida will not appear as a choice on our Schedules and Tickets page.
A good rule of thumb to remember is that we generally play a particular part of the country around the same time every year. So if you saw us in early Spring last year, there's a good chance we'll be back in your area around that same time this year! Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey performs within 90 miles of every major city and metropolitan area in the United States. We even play some limited engagements in Mexico and Canada. We currently do not have traveling units outside of these areas.

Well, since I already know and have seen the result of your third mid life crisis, I will say that it isn't bad at all. I actually thought it looked very nice on you considering the roller derby stuff and all. :) Glad you had the guts to do this!
25 wasn't that big of deal for me it was 30 that really killed me. So freaking out at 25 could be a good way of getting that out of the way ;)
I felt the same way you do on my 25th birthday. No other birthday has bothered me as much as that one. Then the day after I turned 25, I was fine! ;o) Now if I could only go back to that "terrible" birthday...
